First, storyboard artist, Sharon Bridgeman, was chastised by nuns. Then she was laughed at by a guidance counsellor. She wanted to help her mom out with bills, but her mom didn't want Sharon doing a regular job. Instead, Sharon went to animation school and wound up working on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which launched her into a film and TV career spanning 30+ years. In this interview, Sharon talks to Bobby about her storytelling techniques, the dangers of getting typecast, and a warm story involving her mom and rollerskating in the hallway.
