Chiara Benedetti is an Italian concept artist and illustrator based in Madrid. She studied 3D Graphics, Animation and Visual FX at Nemo NT Art Academy, and is now a freelance artist whose clients include Netflix Animation, Hasbro, Sony Animation, DreamWorks Animation, Skydance Animation, and many others. In this interview, Chiara talks about the challenges of leaving her home country to pursue job opportunities in Ireland, her view on the future of animation, her sketching and painting process, overcoming her shyness, and why it's important to not be too hard on yourself.
